DFJ-VTB Aurora is a Russia-focused seed and early stage emerging technology venture fund with offices in Silicon Valley and Moscow. We are part of the most active venture capital organization in the world: the DFJ Network, a fund family with over 30 offices and over $6 billion under management. We are also part of one of the largest financial and investment banking groups in Russia: VTB.

As DFJ-VTB Aurora, we provide both business support and capital to passionate entrepreneurs who want to change the world. In general, we focus on science-heavy ventures with a current or planned presence in Russia, and with nanotechnology or other core science as a significant component of their business. This may include Life Science, New Materials, Clean Energy among other sectors where nanotechnology innovation may play a role. While DFJ-VTB Aurora tends to invest in early stage opportunities where we typically take an active role and a significant ownership stake in the business, we will consider growth and later stage investments where our expertise and relationships can make a significant contribution to the success of the venture.
